Young Thug Makes Musical Return with Verse on Lil Baby’s New Album Wham
Young Thug has released his first verse since his recent release from incarceration. The acclaimed rapper features alongside Future on Lil Baby’s track "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber," part of Lil Baby’s latest album, Wham. Thug opens the song’s second verse, produced by Wheezy and Juke Wong.
In "Dum, Dumb, and Dumber," Young Thug reflects on his time in jail, rapping, “I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real.” His arrest in 2022 on racketeering and gang conspiracy charges culminated in his release on October 31 after he pled guilty to involvement in criminal street gang activity, concluding the longest trial in Georgia history.
Lil Baby’s album Wham, released today, marks his first full-length offering since 2022’s It’s Only Me. The 15-track album also features collaborations with artists such as 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Rod Wave, Rylo Rodriguez, and Glorilla. Lil Baby teased the project last month, promoting it with nationwide billboards stating “Whatever Wham Say Goes”—a nod to Young Thug.
