ECNETNews reports that Wednesday and MJ Lenderman are set to reissue their acclaimed 2021 collaborative EP, *Guttering*, making it available on vinyl for the first time. The six-track project will be released through Julia’s War Recordings, which originally debuted the EP on cassette as its inaugural release. The reissue will feature standout tracks including “Big Money” and “Phish Pepsi,” along with a cover of Greg Sage’s “Sacrifice (For Love),” which was later included on Karly Hartzman & Co.’s 2022 covers album, *Mowing the Leaves Instead of Piling ’Em Up*.
Douglas Dulagrian, head of Julia’s War, reflected on the release’s significance, stating, “I’m proud that this record was the first Julia’s War release four or five years ago. It’s remarkable to see how it has contributed to the label’s growth. Each release is a new chapter in our journey, and this EP remains a key part of our story.”
The reissue of *Guttering* is scheduled to be available in stores on June 20. In related news, MJ Lenderman recently announced he would be stepping back from touring with Wednesday. He has released a cover of “Dancing in the Club” by This Is Lorelei, which will be featured on a deluxe version of Nate Amos’ upcoming 2024 album, *Box for Buddy, Box for Star*. Additionally, he contributed a new song titled “Bury the Dog” to a benefit compilation supporting Asheville-based artists affected by Hurricane Helene. Meanwhile, Wednesday’s latest album, *Rat Saw God*, was released in 2023.
