The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has announced a disruption in drinking water supply across several areas of the city on Sunday.
This interruption is due to damage sustained to the 33-inch diameter water supply feeder main connected to the Red Hills reservoir from the Asif Nagar filter beds.
The areas impacted by this disruption include Red Hills, Bazaar Ghat, Mallepally, Sitaram Bagh, Nampally Railway Station, Niloufer Hospital, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Dargah Yousufain, Ek Minar, Subhan, a portion of Ghode-ki-Qabar, Gunfoundry, Adarsh Nagar, BJR Nagar, Khairatabad, Mint Compound, Old CIB quarters, AC Guards, part of Income Tax quarters, sections of Vijay Nagar Colony, Gokul Nagar, Mangar Basthi, and Vambay Quarters.
