Víctor Alfonso Gelacio Banda was identified as the individual who trespassed onto the property of Ferrocarriles Mexicanos, where he was confronted by security personnel. After a pursuit, they opened fire and struck him with two shots.
The victim’s body was located in the yards of Ferromex, situated at the intersection of Cuauhtémoc and Sonora streets.
The incident has been confirmed by the state’s attorney general’s office, which reported a witness statement indicating that the individual was lurking in the railway yards when he was spotted and subsequently shot twice in the darkness of night.
Authorities revealed that the individual had a prior arrest on March 25 for theft.
A significant police mobilization took place at the Ferromex facility following the report, with officers arriving to investigate the incident and conduct the necessary procedures.
It has come to light that the security guard involved is known as Miguel Olarte, who has been taken into custody by law enforcement despite being responsible for the site’s security.
