A tragic accident occurred on the outskirts of Ramanagara on Thursday morning, resulting in the deaths of a five-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl. The victims, identified as Pradeep and Bhavya from Denkanikote in Tamil Nadu, were visiting relatives for a holiday.
According to local authorities, the children’s relative, Govinda, was transporting them on a scooter with his assistant, Madhu, when a speeding KSRTC bus, headed towards Kanakapura, collided with them. The impact was devastating, leading to the immediate fatalities of the young children, while Govinda and Madhu suffered serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in the ICU.
The Ramanagara rural traffic police have initiated a case against the bus driver for causing death through negligence and reckless driving.
