Telangana Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Dansari Anasuya, widely known as Seethakka, have been appointed as senior observers for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections in 2024. This strategic decision comes from the All India Congress Committee (AICC), led by president Mallikarjun Kharge.
In a press release from October 15, 2024, it was confirmed that Mr. Reddy has been designated as one of the two senior observers for the Marathwada division, while Ms. Seethakka will be responsible for overseeing North Maharashtra.
Currently, Mr. Reddy holds the position of Minister for Civil Supplies and Irrigation in Telangana, and Ms. Seethakka manages the portfolios of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Women and Child Welfare. The Election Commission of India is anticipated to announce the election schedule later today.
