A dramatic tornado was captured on video as it swept through Castellón in eastern Spain, creating a significant spectacle for residents.
José Arenes, the mayor of El Toro, reported to local media that the tornado “surprised us all,” yet reassured that there appeared to be “no major damage” inflicted on the area.
The local weather agency indicated that the tornado was likely a result of a supercell, a type of severe thunderstorm known for its rotating updrafts.
