Noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells, consisting of Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller, have officially unveiled plans for their upcoming album, Bunky Becky Birthday Boy, set to release on April 4. The album features the previously released track “Wanna Start a Band?” and introduces a new single titled “Bunky Pop,” which premiered today alongside a captivating video featuring actress Dylan Gelula.
Derek Miller shared insights about the new track, stating, “We wanted the track to sound like a dog having the best moment of her life without any of the burden of self-consciousness. ‘Bunky Pop’ informed the entire record, and Bunky Becky kind of became a character woven into every song.”
This marks a significant return for the duo, following their last album, Texis, which debuted in 2021. Fans can also look forward to their North American tour kicking off in May.
