During a recent press briefing, exclusive footage of Monument Valley 3 was unveiled. One segment featured a new sailing mechanic, where players can guide a boat by dragging their finger across the screen. Another clip showcased a captivating puzzle rendered in the series’ signature isometric view, featuring pathways obscured by an intense white light.
The announcement of the release date follows the game’s initial reveal at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Ahead of the new installment, both the original Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 will also be available on the Netflix platform, with the original now live and the sequel launching on October 29.
The Netflix Geeked Week presentation further revealed upcoming titles for Netflix Games, including SpongeBob: Bubble Pop F.U.N., along with Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game and Squid Game Unleashed, based on popular Netflix properties. Additional games on the horizon include Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition and Civilization VI, both marked as "coming soon," alongside a new rendition of the classic board game Battleship, expected to launch on September 24.
Monument Valley 3 will be available on December 10 exclusively through the Netflix app, with all games accessible for free to active Netflix subscribers.
