Video game music concerts have captivated audiences for decades, but starting next year, Sony is set to elevate the experience with its own concert series, "PlayStation: The Concert," reaching music-loving gamers in 200 cities worldwide.
In a recent announcement, it was revealed that the concert will showcase iconic music from popular Sony franchises, including The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, and God of War. This event is a collaboration between Sony Interactive Entertainment and leading event organizers.
"This concert series is positioned to redefine live music experiences," a spokesperson stated. "More than just a concert, it represents an unparalleled integration of video game culture and live entertainment, offering fans a captivating mix of striking visuals, immersive sound, and a talented ensemble that fuses classical and contemporary musical elements."
While only a select number of European dates have been confirmed, including the inaugural concert scheduled for April 19, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland, additional locations in the U.S. and further international venues will be announced soon. European fans are encouraged to visit the official ticketing site to access early ticket purchases using the code PLAYCONCERT24, beginning Wednesday, October 16, at 7 AM PT.
