In a heartfelt tribute, Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, honored the memory of the late Patience Umo Eno, wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, during her condolence visit on Friday, September 27, at the Governor’s Lodge in Uyo. Describing Mrs. Umo Eno as a peaceful and God-fearing individual dedicated to her community, Mrs. Tinubu expressed her profound sorrow over the loss.
During the visit, Mrs. Tinubu reflected on her respectful relationship with the deceased, emphasizing the importance of love and compassion beyond political affiliations. “Despite her brief time with us, she made a significant impact and completed her course well. I pray for strength for you, the husband, and your children during this difficult time,” she stated.
As part of the visit, the First Lady signed a condolence register dedicated to Mrs. Umo Eno, followed by special prayers for her soul and for comfort for her grieving family.
