At 31 years old, Bright is recognized as Chelsea’s longest-serving women’s player, having dedicated over a decade to the club. The England international has achieved remarkable success during her tenure, winning numerous honors including seven Women’s Super League titles, five FA Cups, two League Cups, and the prestigious Community Shield.
Bright, who boasts 86 caps for the England national team, played a pivotal role in the Lionesses’ triumph in Euro 2022, participating in all six matches.
Expressing her commitment, Bright stated, “Representing this club and continuing our journey together was never a question to me. This club is my home. Chelsea runs through me. The legacy continues.”
Paul Green, Head of Women’s Football at Chelsea, commented on the significance of Bright’s extension, stating, “Millie is the leader of the team and our longest-serving player.
