A Russian whale watcher has been discovered alive, accompanied by the tragic news of two deceased relatives, two months after embarking on his journey.
State television featured 46-year-old Mikhail Pichugin, who was seen in a Magadan hospital, communicating and smiling despite his harrowing experience.
