ECNETNews is excited to announce that the Pitchfork Music Festival will return to London and Paris this November. The two festivals will take place simultaneously, with the London event scheduled from November 4 to 8 and the Paris festival occurring from November 3 to 9.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the London festival, featuring an array of concerts throughout the city. The festivities will kick off with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard presenting an orchestral performance at the Royal Albert Hall, accompanied by the Covent Garden Sinfonia. Following the opening, Oklou and Laurie Anderson will headline consecutive nights at the Roundhouse, with Anderson presenting a career-spanning set alongside the New York jazz collective, Sexmob. Oklou will also lead a Friday-night lineup at the venue, featuring performers like Erika De Casier, Malibu, Nick León, and others.
In Paris, the initial lineup includes a headline show by Blood Orange at L’Olympia, along with two nights at Elysée Montmartre featuring Panda Bear and Panchiko on one night, and A. G. Cook and underscores on another. Additionally, Trabendo will host three nights featuring acts such as Indigo de Souza, Jay Som, Momma, Du Blonde, and the closing performance by Marie Davidson. Erika de Casier and Léa Sen will also share the stage at Trianon during the festival.
London will witness a showcase from MIKE’s 10K Global label at Hackney’s Colour Factory, featuring Sideshow, Anysia Kym, Niontay, duendita, Jadasea, Jespfur, redLee, and special guests. At Koko, Unwound will headline their first UK show in over 25 years, supported by Divide and Dissolve and deathcrash. The annual Dalston Takeover will allow wristband entry to five venues, showcasing artists like Jay Som, Great Grandpa, Indigo De Souza, Body Meat, Panchiko, and many others.
Other exciting announcements for London include a special evening with Kali Malone, Kathryn Mohr, and Rachika Nayar & Nina Keith at EartH Theatre, as well as a punk night at Village Underground featuring Ratboys, Upchuck, and Ekko Astral. Tickets for the Pitchfork London events will go on pre-sale on April 3 at 10 a.m. UK time, with general sales starting on April 4 at 10 a.m. Details about ticket sales for the Pitchfork Paris festival will follow the same schedule.
