Jennifer Fernanda, a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing since January 29 in Tijuana, Baja California, was found alive on the afternoon of February 12.
The minor was located in Teziutlán, Puebla, in the company of a 33-year-old man named Óscar ‘N’, who is suspected of having manipulated her into leaving her home and escaping with him.

The rescue of Jennifer Fernanda was made possible through a coordinated operation between the General Attorney’s Office of Baja California and the General Attorney’s Office of Puebla, via the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Disappearances.
As part of intelligence and field operations, the Puebla Prosecutor’s Office successfully detained Óscar ‘N’, who had an arrest warrant for the crime of aggravated disappearance committed by third parties.
Jennifer received medical and psychological care from the Puebla prosecutor’s office while awaiting the arrival of personnel from the Baja California Prosecutor’s Office to execute the arrest warrant and take custody of the minor.

The disappearance of Jennifer Fernanda on January 29 prompted an intense mobilization of family, friends, and community groups demanding her location.
According to provided information, the adolescent was allegedly manipulated by an adult male, who contacted her through a messaging application and is connected to her father as a friend and coworker.
