Evangelion fans can seize a fantastic opportunity to own a collectible Blu-ray edition of “Thrice Upon a Time.” Currently priced at $25.89, this Limited Edition Steelbook has been marked down from its original price of $37. Additionally, a 4K Collector’s Edition is available for $55, down from $80. The Limited Edition Steelbook, released last summer, is the latest physical offering from the Evangelion franchise.
The Limited Edition Steelbook features a two-disc standard Blu-ray release, exclusive steelbook casing, and includes both English and Japanese versions of the film. On-disc extras showcase promotional reels, trailers, and TV commercials. For those interested, Walmart also offers the Limited Edition Steelbook for $27.11. Alternatively, the standard Blu-ray version is priced at $20.47, reduced from $30.
For an enhanced viewing experience, the 4K Collector’s Edition is available for $55.30, down from the list price of $80. This three-disc box set includes a 4K Blu-ray along with two 1080p discs, and comes packaged in an oversized box with a 28-page book, a large poster, and five art cards.
“Thrice Upon a Time” brilliantly concludes the story of Shinji and his Eva Unit pilots, and fans can also find discounts on other films in the series. However, the first film, “You Are (Not) Alone,” has become increasingly difficult to locate. “Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo” is also in short supply, while the DVD edition is available for $18. “Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance” remains accessible on Blu-ray for below retail price.
In addition, a great deal on “Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Complete Series” on Blu-ray is now available for $40, down from $60—perfect for fans looking to revisit the iconic anime before diving into the Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
For dedicated fans, an official LP box set featuring two translucent blue vinyls and a colorful gatefold jacket is also on offer. All four Rebuild of Evangelion movies can be streamed with an active subscription.
Anime enthusiasts should also keep an eye out for the upcoming steelbook release of “Akira,” available for preorder and discounted to $29.49 ahead of its March 4 release.
