Federal employees have received a new email from the Office of Personnel Management, inquiring about their activities from the previous week amidst ongoing legal scrutiny of these requests.
On late Friday night, federal employees were asked again to submit a summary of their achievements from the past week, following a similar request that aims to enhance productivity monitoring. This effort is spearheaded by advisor Elon Musk, who is on a mission to identify unproductive government employees, despite a lack of supporting evidence for such claims.
Employees were informed that they will need to provide these updates every Monday moving forward.
Various government officials, including those from the Departments of the Interior and Treasury, have disclosed the contents of the email to ECNETNews, requesting anonymity due to concerns over potential retaliation by the current administration.
