ECNETNews is excited to report that LG Electronics is set to unveil the highly anticipated LG UltraGear GX9 series at CES 2025 this January.
This new lineup features two impressive 45-inch 21:9 gaming monitors: the 45GX990A and 45GX950A, both boasting ultra-high 5K2K resolution. LG claims this aspect ratio enhances the immersive gaming experience, offering improved compatibility and increased screen real estate. Additionally, the monitors come equipped with Dual-Mode functionality, allowing users to customize their aspect ratio and picture size. With curved display panels, higher brightness, and reduced eye strain, these models promise a more comfortable viewing experience.
Furthermore, LG is introducing the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, touted as the world’s first 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display. This innovation allows the monitor to transition from completely flat to a 900R curvature in mere seconds.
“The UltraGear GX9 series sets a new standard for OLED gaming monitors, combining groundbreaking display technology with smart features that expand and enhance the user experience,” said a representative from LG. “From the world’s first 5K2K OLED gaming monitors with second-generation Dual-Mode to smart gaming monitors with built-in capabilities, the GX9 lineup is designed to deliver maximum value and enjoyment for our customers.”
As of now, details regarding pricing and release dates remain under wraps, but more information is expected to be unveiled in 2025.
