The confidential briefing reportedly includes 20 to 30 slides outlining the U.S. response to a possible conflict with China, detailing everything from preemptive warnings to specific target options for military action, as revealed by various unnamed officials.
In reaction to the news, President Trump and his administration issued strong denials via social media. Trump labeled the claims as “ridiculous,” asserting that China would not be a topic of discussion during the meeting. Additionally, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized that the gathering was not focused on top-secret plans but rather on innovation and production efficiencies.
Musk also shared his perspective on social media, characterizing reports from certain outlets as “pure propaganda” and calling for accountability regarding perceived leaks from Pentagon officials.
