Angel Deradoorian is set to unveil her first solo studio album since 2020, titled Ready for Heaven, releasing on May 9. This highly anticipated album follows her previous work, Find the Sun, and features the December single “Digital Gravestone” alongside a brand new track, “Set Me Free,” which premiered today.
Co-produced by Deradoorian and Sonny DiPerri, Ready for Heaven showcases contributions from saxophonist Patrick Shiroishi, drummer Dylan Fujioka, and other notable artists. “This album explores themes of humanity in decline,” Deradoorian explained. “It tackles mental struggles and is unapologetically anti-capitalist, questioning the many identity labels we’re burdened with in a capitalist society.”
After the release of Find the Sun, Deradoorian collaborated with Kate NV to form Decisive Pink, resulting in the album Ticket to Fame in 2023.
