Samsung is continuously enhancing the art selection available on The Frame TV, a unique television that showcases artwork while turned off, blending seamlessly into home decor.
Traditionally, the art displayed on The Frame TV has largely consisted of public domain works, which are free to use either because the creator relinquished rights or the copyright has expired. This has made it easier to find classic pieces rather than contemporary works; however, that landscape has shifted recently.
Today, 27 iconic artworks from New York’s Museum of Modern Art have been added to the Samsung Art Store. This impressive collection features masterpieces including Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night,” Henri Rousseau’s “The Dream,” Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Evening Star III,” and Frida Kahlo’s “Fulang Chang and I.”
“MoMA is a hub for creativity and inspiration. Our partnership with Samsung expands access to our collection in an innovative way, reaching millions,” stated a spokesperson from The Museum of Modern Art. “This digital collection aims to enrich the lives of art enthusiasts by offering culture and history at an unprecedented scale.”

Our collaboration with MoMA allows us to bring culturally significant works into homes, enabling people to engage with renowned art in a remarkable way,” said a Samsung executive. “This initiative reflects our mission to leverage technology to deliver exceptional experiences to consumers’ everyday lives.”
The Frame TV is available in various sizes and is currently on sale in 43″, 55″, 65″, and 75″ models from the Samsung design store.
