Sony San Diego has announced an exciting update for MLB The Show fans with the launch of this week’s Challenge of the Week: the Impossible Fastball Challenge, where players will attempt to hit a staggering 200MPH fastball. The challenge is set to reward the top performers with exclusive prizes.
The event runs from April 4 at 12 PM PT to April 11 at 11:59 AM PT. Participants must be 18 years or older and have an internet connection to be eligible for the prizes, which include:
– 1st place: Autographed The Show ball by Paul Skenes
– 2nd place: Autographed The Show ball by Elly De La Cruz
– 3rd place: Autographed The Show ball by Gunner Henderson
– 4th – 10th place: 50,000 Stubs
– 11th – 20th place: 40,000 Stubs

In this challenge, players will compete as Elly De La Cruz against a CPU-controlled Paul Skenes, who delivers the blistering fastball. Players must accumulate as many points as possible before registering three outs. Success will require players to swing at the precise moment the pitch is delivered.
