Bloc Party’s iconic debut album, Silent Alarm, marks its 20th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, the renowned UK post-punk band will embark on a North American tour where they will perform the album in its entirety alongside other popular tracks from their discography. Notably, they will be joined by special guests Metric, who are set to perform their acclaimed 2009 album Fantasies in full. See below for full tour dates.
This isn’t the first time Bloc Party has celebrated Silent Alarm; they previously honored the album during tours in 2018 and 2019. Their latest album, Alpha Games, released in 2022, continues to showcase their innovative sound. Last year, the band unveiled the single “Flirting Again” ahead of their performances at notable festivals including Glastonbury and London’s Crystal Palace Park. In addition, Bloc Party’s lead vocalist Kele released a solo project titled The Singing Winds Pt. 3 recently, reflecting their continued artistic evolution.
