Ardova Plc, a prominent player in Nigeria’s downstream oil and gas sector, has secured a bulk purchase framework agreement with Dangote Refinery to bolster supply security and offer competitive pricing for its customers.
In an official announcement, Ardova Plc confirmed that this agreement formalizes its longstanding collaboration with the refinery, solidifying the company’s role as a significant off-taker of petroleum products. The framework will allow Ardova Plc to offtake a comprehensive range of petroleum products from the refinery.
“This partnership will enhance the competitive landscape of Nigeria’s downstream oil and gas sector, reinforcing our longstanding relationship with Dangote Refinery,” the statement highlighted.
Aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s emphasis on competition and enhanced efficiency within the industry, Ardova Plc is poised to deliver petroleum products at competitive prices across the nation.
With a vast network comprising over 700 retail outlets and storage facilities located in Apapa, Lagos, and Onne, Rivers State, Ardova Plc is strategically positioned to meet market demands.
Additionally, in November, the company launched a cutting-edge lubricant oil blending plant with an impressive production capacity of 150 million litres per annum and a storage capacity of 14 million litres, specifically designed to satisfy the growing needs of the Nigerian market.
AbdulWasiu Sowami, Executive Chairman of Ardova Plc, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation in the lubricant sector, stating, “Three years ago, we recognized the necessity of transforming our lubricant plant to meet the market’s demands, demonstrating our dedication to excellence in the lubricants sector.”
