Youth Arrested for Possession of Over 38 Grams of MDMA

In a significant drug bust, the Kozhikode City police apprehended a 22-year-old from Alappuzha on Saturday, seizing 38.3 grams of MDMA. The suspect, known as S. Ambadi, was taken into custody at Chinthavalappu near Palayam, thanks to the collaboration with the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force. According to police reports, the illicit drugs, valued at ₹2 lakh, were allegedly transported to the city from Bengaluru. Officers from the Kasaba station also participated in the operation, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
