Young Thug has been confirmed as a headliner for the Summer Smash festival, happening in Bridgeview, Illinois, on Sunday, June 22. This performance marks the Atlanta rapper’s return to the stage, following a public absence since March 2022 due to legal issues.
After his arrest in May 2022, Young Thug pleaded guilty to charges related to criminal street gang activity in October. Since then, he has made a notable return to music, collaborating on tracks such as Lil Baby’s “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” and more recently contributing to Playboi Carti’s Music. While awaiting his trial, he released his studio album, Business Is Business.
Originating in 2018, the Summer Smash festival has grown to feature a diverse lineup of artists. The 2025 event at SeatGeek Stadium is set to offer performances from notable acts, including Don Toliver, Yeat, Future, Chance the Rapper, Sexyy Red, OsamaSon, Young Nudy, Quavo, and Insane Clown Posse, among others.
Upcoming Young Thug performances:
