The founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Ebuka Obi, has confirmed the arrest of a woman who falsely claimed to have purchased a ₦500 million mansion during a testimony in his church.
During a sermon on Sunday, Obi emphasized his commitment to uncovering the truth behind the deceitful testimony. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, originally presented her story in the church; however, investigations later revealed her true background as a local drink seller, undermining her claims.
In his video statement, Obi remarked, “I heard they have arrested the girl. We are interested in the case. The case cannot be manipulated. We want to know who sent her.” Furthermore, he accused certain individuals of hiring prominent bloggers to damage his reputation, vowing to bring them to light.
Obi has categorically denied any association with the woman, accusing her of lying against God and the church’s altar.
