Who is Opening the MTV VMAs in 2024?
Eminem is set to open the MTV VMAs this year.
The iconic rapper will deliver his first live performance of his new album, titled The Death of Slim Shady. He is in the running for eight awards, including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Hip-Hop, and Song of the Summer.
This marks another appearance for Eminem at the VMAs, having made his first entrance in 1999 with hits like “Guilty Conscience” and “My Name Is.” One of his most unforgettable moments came when he performed “The Real Slim Shady” alongside a hundred lookalikes.
In 2010, he opened the VMAs with Rihanna and made notable appearances during performances with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg in 2012. More recently, Eminem teamed up with Snoop Dogg in 2022 to perform their collaboration, From the D 2 The LBC.
