Loomer, a past Republican congressional candidate, has gained notoriety for her promotion of conspiracy theories and her vocal anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiments. Although previously banned from several social media channels, she has seen a resurgence on Twitter, now rebranded as X, and has garnered a significant following exceeding one million users.
Trump has expressed support for her in the past and has shared her content with his audience. This instance marks one of several occasions where he has invited her aboard his campaign plane. Reports indicate that Trump attempted to integrate her into his campaign strategy last year, but the plan was thwarted due to backlash from prominent GOP supporters who viewed her presence as potentially damaging.
In recent months, Loomer has been disseminating a variety of misleading information to her followers, including erroneous claims regarding President Joe Biden’s health, questioning Vice President Harris’s racial identity, and pushing conspiracy theories surrounding school shootings.
She openly stated her commitment to supporting Trump, remarking, “I’m happy to dedicate all my time to helping Trump, because if Trump doesn’t get back in, I don’t have anything.”
