Continuing its tradition from previous seasons, Season 4 was primarily shot in and around Charleston, South Carolina, with production beginning in June 2023. Although filming faced interruptions in July due to the Hollywood strike, it resumed in November, ultimately concluding in June 2024.

Episode 1
The series premiere features scenes filmed at Crosby’s Fish & Shrimp Company, highlighting a 7-Eleven scenario. Poguelandia 2.0 was filmed at the Maybank property, while the Enduro dirt bike race took place at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in Kure Beach, North Carolina. Additionally, exterior shots of Blackstone Manor were filmed at Sandfly Bluff in Charleston.
Episode 2
Inside shots for Blackstone Manor were filmed at the Admiral’s House and Quarter’s G in North Charleston. Pope’s uncle Roger’s house is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The iconic Bowens Island Restaurant stands in for Rockfish Bar, and yachts, including Hollis’ boat, were filmed at Toler’s Cove Marina. May Forest State Park also doubled as a hospital this season.
Episode 3
Rafe’s new house was filmed in Mount Pleasant, while scenes at the Islamic Center were shot in North Charleston. Sofia’s residence is also located in Charleston.
Episode 4
Mr. Sunn’s house is portrayed by a real location on Johns Island, South Carolina.
Episode 5
The haunting scene where John B. discovers his ancestor’s grave was filmed at the Circular Congregational Church and cemetery in Charleston, with the Unitarian Church serving as the interior for the Charleston church sequence. The enigmatic catacombs and crypts were captured at Charleston’s Old Exchange Building.
