Fontaines D.C. captivated audiences with a stellar performance in a recent live session, showcasing tracks from their latest album, Romance. The Irish band delivered a powerful rendition of the album cut “Favourite” and a surprising cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Say Yes to Heaven,” originally recorded in 2013. Lead singer Grian Chatten brought the track’s emotional depth to life, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
Despite being midway through their extensive tour, Fontaines D.C. continues to electrify audiences worldwide. The band is set to perform several more dates in the U.S. this month before heading back to Europe for an ambitious schedule of concerts. Their tour will culminate in December with several highly anticipated headlining shows in Dublin, their hometown.
Romance marks Fontaines D.C.’s fourth studio album and their inaugural collaboration with XL Recordings. Notably, last year, they partnered with other artists to produce a limited-edition vinyl EP titled Ceasefire, with proceeds benefitting Doctors Without Borders’ humanitarian efforts in Gaza and the West Bank.
