This announcement follows the incredible success of his Freedom Street Concert held in Kingston, Jamaica on December 31st, highlighting his continued impact on the music scene.
Known as the “Worl’ Boss,” Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Azim Palmer, has been a transformative force in the global dancehall genre for over two decades. With iconic tracks such as “Romping Shop,” “Fever,” and “Clarks,” he has crafted a legacy of sharp lyrics and chart-topping hits. Despite spending 13 years incarcerated, Kartel’s influence persisted, inspiring rising stars and earning accolades from music giants.
After being released in July 2024 due to an overturned conviction, Kartel swiftly reestablished his presence in the music industry.
