Korean citizens can now enjoy an extended visa-free travel period to Mongolia for tourism until December 31, 2025. This extension comes as part of a temporary measure initiated by the Mongolian government in 2022, aimed at boosting tourism in the region.
Experts predict that this extension will significantly enhance Mongolia’s tourism market by 2025.
However, it is important to note that Korean citizens traveling to Mongolia for work, study, or long-term residency are required to obtain the appropriate visas. This includes 1,511 American citizens, 1,776 South Koreans, 17,849 Chinese, 4,424 Russians, and 6,983 individuals from other nations.
