In a disturbing turn of events that has captured national attention, a man from Uttar Pradesh has accused his wife of physically assaulting him and making menacing threats to kill him, echoing the recent Meerut murder case. The man’s allegations suggest that his wife even threatened to dispose of his body in a blue drum.
According to the man’s statement, the assaults occurred multiple times, with his wife allegedly warning him that he would suffer a fate similar to that of Muskan Rastogi’s husband.
He further disclosed that he had previously lodged two domestic violence complaints against his wife, Maya Maurya.
Earlier this month, Muskan and her accomplice, Sahil, notoriously traveled to Manali and Kasol after gruesomely concealing her husband’s decapitated remains inside a cement-filled blue drum. They were apprehended upon their return to Meerut, raising significant public concern and sparking extensive media coverage.
WIFE’S COUNTERCLAIMS
In response to the accusations, Maya has firmly denied her husband’s claims, instead alleging that he is involved in an affair with her younger sister. She asserts that he has expressed intentions to divorce her in favor of the sister.
Dharmendra Kushwaha, the husband, has confirmed that he is pursuing a divorce amid these troubling claims.
ALLEGATIONS AND THREATS: MAN HOLDS WIFE RESPONSIBLE
Dharmendra, a junior engineer, married Maya in 2016. He asserts that despite making substantial financial investments, including the purchase of three luxury cars to foster marital happiness, he has been a victim of persistent physical abuse, leading him to file prior police complaints.
Additionally, he alleges that he caught Maya in a compromising situation with a relative, which intensified their domestic strife.
On the day of the latest alleged incident, Dharmendra claims his wife attacked him again, reiterating threats about disposing of his body in a blue drum, reminiscent of the recent infamous case. The local authorities are currently investigating the matter, with actions to be determined based on the investigation’s outcomes.
