US Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance are set to embark on a significant visit to India later this month. This marks the Vice President’s second international engagement since taking office, following his trip to France and Germany in February.
During last month’s Munich Security Conference, Vice President Vance delivered a powerful address, criticizing European governments for their actions against free speech, election integrity, and handling of illegal immigration. His comments highlighted the growing tensions between Washington and its European partners.
For Usha Vance, this trip represents a personal milestone as it will be her first visit to India as Second Lady, a country her parents left when they immigrated to the United States.
