Defending champions Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic are set to showcase their skills on Friday at the US Open, providing thrilling tennis action for fans worldwide.
Gauff will kick off the excitement on Arthur Ashe Stadium at 5 PM, facing off against 27th seed Elina Svitolina, who has a strong track record, including multiple Grand Slam semi-final appearances.
Meanwhile, Djokovic will headline the evening session, squaring off against Australia’s 28th seed Alexei Popyrin at midnight. Following this match, two-time Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka will compete against 29th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Prior to these matchups, an exciting all-American showdown is set between Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe, taking place at approximately 7 PM. This is a rematch of last year’s quarter-final, where Shelton emerged victorious.
