A new Vande Bharat Express is set to launch between Durg and Visakhapatnam, with the Railway Board granting approval for its operation. The train, numbered 20829, is designed to depart Durg at 5:45 a.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam by 1:45 p.m. In the return journey, train 20830 will leave Visakhapatnam at 2:50 p.m., reaching Durg at 10:50 p.m. the same evening.
This service will feature stops at several key stations, including Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada, and Vizianagaram. The Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, excluding Thursdays, and will consist of a modern rake with 16 cars.
