New Programming on Peacock: March 17-23, 2025 Features Wicked and Happy’s Place Finale
Beginning March 21, Peacock will launch the highly anticipated film Wicked, along with a special sing-along version. Directed by Jon M. Chu, known for hits such as In the Heights and Crazy Rich Asians, Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. This enchanting story set in the fictional land of Oz explores the complex friendship between Elphaba, an outsider with green skin, and her charismatic roommate Glinda as their destinies diverge into the roles of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
On March 22, fans can enjoy the Season 1 finale of Happy’s Place, a comedy-drama starring Reba McEntire. The show centers on Bobbie, who inherits her father’s restaurant only to discover that her business partner is her long-lost half-sister, creating unexpected challenges and comedic moments.
Additional film releases on Peacock this week include the suspenseful thriller The Invisible Man and the animated adventure Minions: The Rise of Gru.
The Invisible Man follows Cecilia, whose life takes a terrifying turn after her abusive ex-partner’s death leaves her a fortune. As she grapples with the trauma, she becomes convinced that an unseen presence is stalking her.
Minions: The Rise of Gru serves as a prequel to the Despicable Me series, telling the story of young Gru as he teams up with the Minions in his quest to become an infamous supervillain.
