NetEase and Bungie have unveiled an exciting new addition to the Destiny universe: Destiny Rising, a mobile sci-fi RPG set in an alternate timeline. This game promises “best-in-class” shooting action tailored for mobile devices, aiming to deliver an immersive experience for both long-time fans and newcomers alike.
Destiny Rising offers a “brand-new adventure” featuring a mix of familiar and new characters, along with a variety of both classic and innovative gameplay modes. A closed alpha test is set to launch in November, and interested players can pre-register now.
Furthermore, Bungie is diversifying its portfolio with several upcoming projects, including a survival shooter titled Marathon. The studio recently underwent significant restructuring, which included mass layoffs affecting senior staff.
