The University of Ilorin has taken disciplinary action against five students for alleged misconduct on campus. In a decisive move, two students have been expelled, while three others face rustication for one academic session.
The announcement was made by the Director of Corporate Affairs on July 5, 2024, following the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee. The expelled students are Olayoonu Amos from the Department of Human Kinetics and Ibrahim Taoreed from the Department of Education Management.
The rusticated students include:
– Toluwanimi David Olabanji, Matric No. 21/52HL103, Department of Communication and Information Science
– Ezekiel Olabanji Dosunmu, Matric No. 20/66MG101, Department of Marketing
– Adedoyin Babatunde Obadairo-Yusuf, Matric No. 20/52HP052, Department of Telecommunication Science
