The ongoing legal dispute involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is intensifying, as Lively’s legal team asserts that two additional actresses are ready to testify against Baldoni.
Recent Developments from Blake Lively’s Legal Team
In a revised complaint submitted on Tuesday, Lively’s attorneys revealed that two actresses, alongside Lively, are prepared to provide testimony regarding their uncomfortable experiences with Baldoni during the filming of *It Ends With Us*.
The actresses’ identities have not been publicly disclosed in the suit, leaving uncertainty about their specific testimonies. However, reports suggest that they are Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, both of whom worked on the film with Lively.
A spokesperson for Lively stated, “These victim-witnesses have given Ms. Lively permission to share their communications in the amended complaint, and they are set to testify and produce documents during the discovery process.”
Lively’s legal representatives, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, emphasized that the amended complaint introduces substantial new evidence and further corroboration of Lively’s initial claims. This includes previously unshared communications involving Lively, representatives of Sony, Wayfarer Studios, and various other witnesses. The complaint reveals that Lively was not alone in raising allegations of on-set misconduct long before the film’s editing phase and highlights instances of threats, harassment, and intimidation not just directed at Lively, but also affecting multiple innocent bystanders amidst what they term a retaliatory campaign by the defendants.
The legal team added that the revised complaint contains additional evidence along with texts from Lively from May 2023, which depict an uncomfortable working environment.
In her texts, Lively expressed distress over the situation, stating, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa … It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them. I wasn’t expecting that turn. I mean it’s been present but today I came home and cried.”
Lively’s messages further characterized Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios partner Jamey Heath as “creeps,” indicating her discomfort with their behavior and comments.
