Reliability Won Expands Reach with Acquisition of Noria Corp.
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Reliability Won, a platform focused on enhancing asset reliability with the backing of Battery Ventures, has officially acquired Noria Corp., a leader in lubrication and oil analysis services, as well as training and software solutions.
Noria becomes the second acquisition for Reliability Won, following the purchase of Mobius Institute, which specializes in vibration-analysis training and certification. Both Noria and Mobius will continue to operate independently within the Reliability Won group, combining their strengths to offer a wider range of services that enhance asset reliability, condition-monitoring, and precision-maintenance technologies across various industries.
Noria, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a subsidiary in León, Mexico, is renowned for its expertise in lubrication and oil analysis. Through its comprehensive services and training offerings, Noria aids numerous prominent organizations in optimizing reliability programs and extending asset lifecycles.
The Mobius Institute complements Noria’s offerings with a suite of training and certification products focused on vibration analysis, infrared, and ultrasound technologies. Together, the two companies are set to provide a robust array of training and services for maintenance and reliability engineers across sectors including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, energy, manufacturing, automotive, and transportation.
“Noria’s mission has always centered on enhancing machine reliability and safety through superior lubrication practices,” stated a spokesperson for Noria. “By joining Reliability Won, we can amplify our impact and deliver even greater value to our customers, empowering reliability professionals with essential knowledge and tools to boost operational performance.”
Noria will maintain its established brand identity while leveraging Reliability Won’s extensive resources and global presence to drive growth and diversify its offerings. Jim Fitch will serve as a technical advisor as Bennett Fitch, Noria’s current president, oversees daily operations. In Latin America, Oscar Trujillo will lead the subsidiary with support from founder Gerardo Trujillo.
“We are excited to welcome Noria into the Reliability Won family,” said a spokesperson for Reliability Won. “Noria’s expertise significantly enhances our service offerings, and its focus on lubrication and oil analysis aligns perfectly with Mobius Institute’s specialization in vibration analysis. The acquisition marks a pivotal moment for both brands as we explore fresh growth opportunities.”
This acquisition is a significant step in Reliability Won’s mission to assemble a global network of asset-reliability and condition-monitoring companies. The company aims to further expand its portfolio with additional industrial training, certification, and specialized service offerings.
“Combining the strengths of Mobius and Noria aligns perfectly with our vision to lead the global market in asset reliability and condition monitoring,” a partner at Battery Ventures shared. “We are eager to continue pursuing further acquisition possibilities that will enhance Reliability Won’s offerings.”
