Former President Donald Trump addressed a gathering of Christians at the Turning Point Action’s “Believers Summit” in West Palm Beach, Florida, reiterating key themes important to his base.
This event provided Trump an opportunity to connect with a vital Republican voting demographic. He pledged to safeguard religious freedom and highlighted his support for the Israeli government.
Trump urged Christian voters to mobilize ahead of Election Day, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming election. He claimed that if reelected, concerns related to Christian values would be resolved, suggesting that there would be no need for political engagement in the future.
“You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians,” Trump stated.
He also announced plans to establish a federal task force to address anti-Christian bias and vowed to defund educational institutions promoting critical race theory and other content deemed inappropriate.
Friday marked Trump’s second campaign speech following President Biden’s exit from the race and endorsement of Vice President Harris as the Democratic nominee.
During the summit, Trump extensively criticized Harris, claiming, “If Kamala Harris gets in, she will be the most extreme radical liberal president in American history.”
The Turning Point Action event reflects the organization’s commitment to engaging students on conservative issues, reinforcing its role as a leading voice in the conservative movement.
