Travis Scott was apprehended in Paris this morning for allegedly assaulting a security guard outside the prestigious George V hotel. This incident occurred after Scott attended a basketball game with Quavo during the Olympics. According to local authorities, the security guard was intervening in an altercation between Scott and his bodyguard.
The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed the arrest, stating, “On August 9, 2024, police officers responded to a call at the George V hotel and detained the rapper known as Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.”
In related news, a previous charge against Scott for disorderly intoxication in Miami was dismissed yesterday; however, a misdemeanor trespassing charge remains in effect.
