Guntur’s esteemed Sahasra Ortho and Neuro Centre has been recognized by the Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS) as a premier training center for orthopaedic surgeons specializing in arthroscopic surgeries for knee, shoulder, and sports-related injuries.
This facility stands out as one of only 31 accredited centers nationwide, with Sahasra Ortho and Neuro Centre being one of just two centers in Andhra Pradesh, alongside another establishment in Visakhapatnam, as noted by its founder, Dr. Siva Kumar Mamillapalli.
“We are launching a fellowship training program specifically designed for orthopaedic surgeons focused on arthroscopy and sports injuries. This certification will be recognized nationally,” Dr. Kumar stated. The fellowship program will allow orthopaedic surgeons from across India to enhance their skills under the expert guidance of Dr. Siva Kumar, a leading specialist in arthroscopy and sports injuries.
