Andrew Balding’s €2.6 million filly, Run Away, is a standout contender this afternoon at Windsor in a highly anticipated race.
2:37 PM Windsor – Run Away Leads the Charge
Run Away, purchased for a staggering €2,600,000 at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sales, made a strong debut win before finishing seventh in a competitive novice event at Doncaster, where the first and second place horses were rated 104 and 110, respectively. She aims to continue her upward trajectory in the Download The Racecourse App Raceday Ready Novice Stakes and emerges as a top contender based on her recent performances.
Shadwell fields two runners, Muhib and Tawajjah, with Jim Crowley opting for Tawajjah, who finished seventh on debut at Kempton last year. Saffie Osborne will ride Muhib, making his racecourse debut after undergoing gelding. While both have strong credentials, Tawajjah appears to be the preferred choice.
2:25 PM Worcester – Bagheera Ginge Shines
Sam Twiston-Davies takes the reins on Bagheera Ginge for his father, Nigel Twiston-Davies. A solid performance at Newton Abbot suggests the six-year-old has a strong chance of success this time out.
Nicky Henderson’s Issuing Authority is looking to rebound after two disappointing outings and is now racing off a reduced mark of 122. He steps up to 2m4f today with his usual rider, James Bowen, in the saddle, presenting a promising opportunity at this new distance.
Grey Skies, who has undergone wind surgery, and Frere d’Armes are also in contention.
3:12 PM Windsor – Morcar Seeks Continued Success
Promising apprentice Joe Leavy rides Morcar, who recently secured a comfortable victory at Windsor. Despite a 7lb handicap rise following that success, Morcar enters this race in form and could prove to be a strong contender.
Jamie Osborne’s Diamond Ranger, coming off a second-place finish at Kempton, faces a minimal increase of just 1lb for that effort, keeping him competitive under Saffie Osborne’s guidance.
Mighty Bandit and The Whipmaster are also worthy of consideration after their recent placings.

At Windsor, Aviation Time, who placed third in the Windsor Castle, has drawn attention alongside Amestris, who is set to compete with Oisin Murphy in the saddle. The course and distance-proven Darysina Gold aims for a return to form at 3:42 PM, while Adace also has a solid chance at 4:45 PM.
