The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has officially announced the closure of the sacred temple tank, Pushkarini, for an entire month—from August 1 to August 31. This temporary closure is part of essential cleaning and renovation efforts aimed at maintaining the iconic site.
In preparation for the upcoming annual Brahmotsavams, set to commence on October 4, TTD routinely shuts down the tank for maintenance. This year, the renovation work will involve several crucial tasks, including emptying the tank, removing sludge, cleaning the steps, disposing of debris, painting pipes, and conducting necessary repairs.
Devotees are urged to take note of this temporary closure and provide their cooperation during this maintenance period.
