New Cast Members for The Last of Us Season 2
Joining the ensemble are Joe Pantoliano, Alanna Ubach, Ben Ahlers, Hettienne Park, Robert John Burke, and Noah Lamanna. Pantoliano will take on the role of Eugene, a character who appears briefly in a photograph in the video game sequel, but will receive significant development in the series analogous to the acclaimed Bill and Frank standalone episode from Season 1.
Neil Druckmann, co-creator of the game and show, expressed enthusiasm for this expanded storytelling, stating, “I get excited when I see these opportunities. The way this character comes in really gets to the heart of Joel and Ellie and their relationship.”
Burke is set to portray Seth, a bar owner, while Lamanna will play Kat, Ellie’s former love interest. Ubach, Ahlers, and Park will introduce new characters to the storyline, with Ubach playing Hanrahan, Ahlers as Burton, and Park as Elise Park.
The returning cast also includes Kaitlyn Dever, Young Mazino, Danny Ramirez, Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Wright, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord.
The Last of Us Season 2 is set to premiere on HBO on April 13, 2025, promising thrilling developments in this post-apocalyptic saga.
