Activision has officially announced an exciting crossover for Call of Duty with the upcoming reboot of The Crow. Speculation around this operator bundle had been growing, especially after recent leaks and a “classified” silhouette in the Season 5 roadmap that appeared to resemble Bill Skarsgard’s portrayal of The Crow.
While a teaser clip has been released, it does not reveal the new operator’s face. However, the voiceover strongly suggests the involvement of Bill Skarsgard. The operator bundle is set to launch on August 22, just one day prior to the film’s theatrical debut on August 23.
Currently, Season 5 of Call of Duty is thriving, featuring a WWE crossover that highlights wrestling superstars such as Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, and Rey Mysterio. Fans can expect the midseason “Reloaded” update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone to arrive on August 21.
Looking ahead, the highly anticipated Black Ops 6 game is slated for release on October 25. Additional details regarding its multiplayer features and Zombies mode will be unveiled during the Call of Duty: Next event scheduled for August 28. So far, one Zombies map and storyline have been disclosed, with more information on Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode available soon.
