The artist shared her heartfelt journey in a recent statement, reflecting on the significance of the album title. “Godspeed marks the beginning of a journey and sometimes the end of one,” she explained. “After nearly a year in lockdown, when I signed the paperwork for this album, I called my dad to share the news. His pride was immeasurable, and in a way, so was his relief. With him passing unexpectedly just before my first session, his voice is forever etched in Godspeed and will resonate through every listener’s journey.”
The Blessed Madonna has already teased the album with several singles, including “Serotonin Moonbeams,” “We Still Believe,” “Mercy,” “Carry Me Higher,” “Happier,” and “Count on My Love.” This new release follows her critically acclaimed 2020 remix album Club Future Nostalgia.
